Rocco Lc Williams collaborates with rapper, Lyk Sevyn, to create a piece of music that pushes what is possible on each instrument as well as challenging the featured spoken word artist.
Marimba One Premiere Artist Video
2018
In 2017, Williams was recruited by Marimba One to part of their sponsored artist program as a Premiere Artist in their vibraphone category. After accepting this opportunity, Rocco collaborated with Marimba One to create this video/recording of his song “To a Playful One.” Music recorded @ Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO.

Duo with Arno Kristensen
2024
In beginning Williams’ Masters Degree at California Institute of the Arts a spark ignited between Williams and pianist/composer from Geneva, Switzerland, Arno Kristensen. Kristensen and Williams formed their own duo specializing in highly improvised music. The recording above is of a composition by Arno entitled “Artsakh” recorded in the Digital Recording Studio at California Institute for the Arts.

A Piece by Jakob Heineman
2025
In collaboration with Primoz Sukic, Rafa Aslan, and Jakob Heineman, Williams recorded an original composition by Jakob highlighting the improvised music idiom with multiple separate solo environments and written sections. The piece has no title and was recorded on the California Institute of the Arts campus.
